Scene Study (Acting II)
Grades 10-12, 5 credits

This course is a continuation of Acting I. Emphasis on scene development incorporating objectives, breakdown of text into actions, character development, justification of actions, pace, improvisation and script analysis are examined. Oral discussion, scene work monologues, commitment, and the demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively are requisites for successful completion. The Sanford Meisner Technique is explored.
