Save the Date: The Prout School Annual Auction will be held on Friday, March 30! Come join us for a fun evening! If you are interested in donating items to the auction, please contact Sharon DeLuca at sdeluca@theproutschool.org.
Coming up after the holiday break we will really begin to gear up for the Spring auction! We welcome everyone to attend any of our upcoming auction planning meetings at Prout on the following dates:
Tuesday, January 10 at 7pm in the library
Wednesday, January 11 at 1pm in the conference room
Thursday, January 19 at 7pm in the library
You do not have to come to every meeting! We are providing various time options to attempt to accommodate everyone's schedule. We really need parent support to make the auction a successful event! We count on the funds raised from the auction to purchase equipment and support programs for our kids!
We are always looking for parents to help with soliciting auction items, but there are plenty of other volunteer opportunities available as well! We need volunteers to; coordinate the sales of raffle tickets (a significant fundraising element of the evening), coordinate the collection of items for the “class baskets” (each grade brings in themed items to create baskets for the auction), make posters and flyers for distribution to our communities to promote the event, help track inventory of donated items, create baskets of auction items, help with decorations, help with thank you notes, encourage families to attend the event, help out the night of the auction and much more! There is an opportunity for anyone who wants to pitch in—either a little or a lot! And it is a great way to meet other Prout families!
