AP Environmental Science
This course is designed to be the equivalent of a one-semester, introductory college course in environmental science. The goal of the course is to provide the students with an understanding of the interrelationships of the natural world, and the ability to identify, analyze and evaluate problems associated with environmental problems. Environmental science is an interdisiplinary field, which embraces a wide variety of topics from different areas of study. Field and lab work associated with this course is extensive, and some meetings after school and on weekends are required. Either Chemistry or Honors Chemistry is a prerequisite for this course.
