Class Retreats
“Open wide your hearts to God! Let yourselves be surprised by Christ!” –Pope Benedict, Message to Young People, 2005
“Jesus is living next to you, in the brothers and sisters with whom you share your daily existence.” –Pope John Paul II.

Class retreats are a cherished aspect of Prout’s Catholic identity and tradition. Each year, each class attends a retreat. On these retreats, students are invited to have fun, bond with their class, and deepen their faith. This year, a talented group of Prout seniors (our Peer Ministers) will lead our retreats. They have been training and preparing for these retreats and they are excited to help Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors with the wisdom they have gained during their past four years of high school. As the freshmen retreats already demonstrated, these retreats will be as enriching and nurturing as they are fun and memorable. This day is a chance for students to get out of the typical school day and grow as a community. Most importantly, these retreats offer students a chance to pray and reflect on how God has been working in their lives and how they can live their lives in response to His love.
