David DiLullo - Visual & Performing Arts Department Head / Theatre Director

Mr. DiLullo came to The Prout School in 1991. He has studied at NYU, HB Studio, The American Musical and Dramatics Academy, and the University of Rhode Island. He is a member of the Educational Theatre Association, the International Thespian Society and Who’s Who among American Theatre Teachers. He is a theatre instructor and the Visual and Performing Arts Chair at The Prout School. Mr. DiLullo’s directing credits include "The Fantasticks", "Scapino", "The Grapes of Wrath", "The Man Who Came to Dinner", "Peter Pan", "Les Miserables", "The Crucible", "Anything Goes", "The Two Gentlemen Of Verona", "The Skin of Our Teeth", "Oklahoma!", "Alice in Wonderland", "The Smart Set", and "Into the Woods." He has served as the Theatre Coordinator for World and RI Scholar Athlete Games. In addition to teaching and directing in an educational environment, Mr. DiLullo is also a professional stage director. He is a member of SSDC.
Michael Elson - Visual & Performing Arts

Mr. Elson is a state certified visual arts teacher who has been teaching at The Prout School since 1999. He has taught up to seven different visual arts classes during his time here at Prout. Currently, Mr. Elson teaches AP Studio Art (Drawing and 2-D portfolio), Painting, Drawing, Graphic Design, and Introduction to Art. Besides directing both a winter and spring art show, Mr. Elson is also the moderator of the Art Club. On his own time, he is a practicing artist who enjoys doing research and taking graduate courses to enrich the work he does inside and outside of the Prout School.
Kristen Rich- Ceramics/Art Teacher

Mrs. Rich joins the Prout community having previously taught Art in the Chariho Regional School District for the past four years. She teaches Ceramics and Sculpture. Mrs. Rich is an active member of both the National and Rhode Island Art Education Association. In her free time, she enjoys taking classes at the South County Art Association and Dew Claw Pottery Studios.
Libby Stackhouse- Performing Arts and Dance

Miss Stackhouse received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Boston Conservatory in Dance Performance. Other training has included Ballet New England, Boston Ballet, and the Louisville Ballet. She has danced professionally with ballet, contemporary, and modern dance companies in San Diego, Ca, Boston, MA, New York City, and throughout New England. She has been teaching dance for over a decade and is also certified in “Pilates” and as a personal trainer. She currently dances with Spindle City Ballet.
Bethany Clarke, Music Director

Ms. Clarke joined the Prout School in 2010 as the music teacher. Before becoming part of the Prout team she began conducting the Jamestown Community Band, guest conducted for choral and instrumental groups in Rhode Island, worked as the musical director for a middle school production of Beauty and the Beast, and privately taught voice, flute, and saxophone lessons. At Prout, Ms. Clarke teaches band, chorus, guitar I and II, music history and music theory. She also directs the jazz band, is musical director for the school musicals, and moderates the percussion ensemble.
