Advanced Acting (Acting III)
Prerequisite: Advanced Acting (Acting II – Scene Study) AND the permission of the instructor
This class is a continuation of Advanced Acting (Acting II – Scene Study) with a more in-depth concentration on The Sanford Meisner Approach. Each week will be dedicated to exploring “the Meisner sessions”. At the sessions, three students will be assigned to a group. Two will work as “partners”. The third will be the “observer”. Students will rotate as to experience each of the roles. Specific scene-work and exercises will be assigned incorporating the approach. Acting skills will grow and strengthen when exploring these techniques. This class is for the serious acting student.
