Transfer Students
Application Procedure for Transfer Students
Register on-line. To be considered for admission, all materials should be in The Prout School admissions office by February 11, 2013. Decision letters will be mailed on March 15, 2013.
Any applicant that does not have a completed application on file by February 11, 2013 will be considered a late applicant. After February 11, applications will be processed on a "rolling admissions" basis, meaning qualified students will be waitlisted until a spot is vacated in a class.
Copy of your Transcripts - Please provide the records release available with the on-line application. Copies of the student's academic transcript should be forwarded to The Prout School. Students/parents of prospective students are required to ensure that The Prout School admissions office receives the academic transcripts by February 11, 2013.
A Writing Sample - The Prout School admissions office requires a written essay explaining some of the reasons why they want to be a part of the Prout community. Send essay via email to kneed@theproutschool.org.
Transfer students may schedule a shadow day. Arrange to spend the day with a Prout student by contacting the admissions office 401.789.9262 x 515. The shadow program begins in January for transfer students.
