Honors Physics
This course is designed to produce a genuine understanding of the physical laws fundamental to all sciences. Problem solving is the primary means used in this study of physics. Newtonian mechanics, momentum, work and power, wave properties, acoustics, optics and electricity are covered. This is a senior level course only, and requires skills in trigonometry and vector manipulation. Extensive lab work and at least two independent projects will supplement the concepts presented in this course.
