The Crusaders reached the Division I State Championship before falling to Bishop Hendricken in a thrilling game that took 3 OT to determine. This never-back-down team had earned a spot in the finals after defeating Moses Brown in double OT in the D1 semis.
The South County Storm wrapped up successful season, going 15-10-0 in a schedule where over half of their games were against Division 1 Massachusetts and Connecticut Teams, only losing 3 games in regulation in Rhode Island. The Storm finished second in a tournament on Martha’s Vineyard and reached the RI State semifinals for the third year in a row. Junior Maddie Ammatuna, sophomore Charlotte Museler and freshman Lauren Coleman represented Prout on the Storm. Maddie has anchored the foundation for the Storm in net for the last two seasons and this year was selected to the RI All-Star Game, backstopping a win. She was also named to the D-1All-Division team.
