Academic Decathlon is a rigorous but very rewarding competition. This year's topic was Climate Change. The students are tested in 7 areas: Math, Science, Economics, Social Science, Art, Music and Literature. They are also evaluated in Speech, Interview and an Essay. The students spend the school year preparing for this one competition. It is an example of a true scholar to go above and beyond the curriculum in the classroom and excel in learning more about a particular topic.
